The following agreement is made between Saffron Walden Steam Laundry, 13-17 Gold Street, Saffron Walden, Essex, CB10 1EN (the company) and “You” (the customer).This agreement is made after we send Acceptance of your order by email. If you do not receive your acceptance within 48 hours then please contact us. We reserve the right to cancel this agreement if unforeseen circumstances do not allow us to supply the linen within the requested time period. Upon doing so a full refund will be made to the customer.


We will always try to supply the specific items requested, however, we reserve the right to substitute an appropriate alternative where necessary. All colours shown in any swatches and images of products on the website are only representative of the actual colour as shades may vary on different products.


The customer undertakes the responsibility to provide Saffron Walden Steam Laundry with full details of any item supplied by Saffron Walden Steam Laundry that has become contaminated or affected with dangerous, toxic, inflammable or adhesive substances. Saffron Walden Steam Laundry reserve the right to refuse to process such items and will dispose of the item and will be charged the full replacement value at the time of hire.


Shortages and damaged linen should be notified in writing within 24 hours of receiving the order. Any items that were found to be damaged will be refunded on return or alternative linen will be offered. This does not affect your
statutory rights.


The company must be informed if the agreed hire return date is extended; The Company reserve the right to charge the daily rate of hire for any extra hire period taken.


Any unauthorised person, who is not the hirer, who signs a delivery/collection note, is deemed to be authorised to do so by the hirer. We will make all efforts to prepare orders for times requested by the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the returned items are packed in our supplied bags or an alternative secure packaging. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the linen is kept in a secure and dry place. Please note that wet linen produces mildew.


The Hired Linen will remain the customer’s responsibility at all times. We reserve the right to charge for any damaged linen (other than by fair wear and tear) you will be informed in writing of any damaged linen received after collection. This linen will be available for inspection at our registered office for 10 days after collection after which point will be disposed of and invoiced accordingly.


All prices are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
